Danny Matthys (Zottegem 1947) is a Flemish - Belgian visual artist, which was originally known as conceptual artist of international reputation. In the beginning of his career in the sixties of the 20th century, he was a pioneer in Polaroid art and Video art.

Paul Wong, (born November 20, 1954 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia) is a Canadian multimedia artist. An award-winning artist, curator, and organizer of public interventions since the mid-1970s, Wong is known for his engagement with issues of race, sex, and death. His work varies from conceptual performances to narratives, meshing video, photography, installation, and performance with Chinese-Canadian cultural perspectives.

BBC News-The news is always true, the presenters are not trained actors and are telling true stories about what’s happening around the world. The setting for the studio is always the same.

How the other half live-This Program has real people in there living situations, one family is helping another. The people aren’t trained and the program isn’t twisted for entertainment.

Ive not blogged in a while.

We were working on our Stirling Castle Project..
When we went up we filmed on what we had to do. My job was to interview people about what they thought about the castle. We then came back and edited our work.

I have not been in Brian's class in while but am going to catch up today.

First Thusrday comming back from the Easter break.

Today John showed us a short video on the Faliurk wheel. H gave us some tips on what would help us when we make a film on Stirling Castle. After break we gathered together and talked and arranged what time we were going to the Castle.

Last Monday before we went on the Easter break.

The Monday before we had the Easter holidays, in Angie's class we were working on Ink Printing.

The method was getting a plate of plastic or glass and then get Blue Ink and spread with a roller onto the plastic or glass plate. When its evenly spread get an image to your choice and then get a sheet of paper and then stick the image onto the paper with masking tape and then put it onto the ink and trace the image.

Once you've finished tracing your image and then peel it back, to revel a posstive image and that's the outline of the image, if you place another piece of paper over the ink and roll over with a roller you get a negative image.

I enjoyed this, we got to experiment with 2 color inks and use different materials.

Monday-In Angie's class i finished my Pop Art portrait, we started to play around with clay and we got letters from the alphabet to make. I enjoyed it. It was good to move on to clay. I have to finish my scrapbook.

Tuesday-Brian's Class-We decided on the name. 'M' David is designing the logo. We also worked on our magazine page.
-Talyor's Class we did a quiz on different country's.

Thursday-John's Class-We worked on Pro Tools and learned how to work that.
-Rob's Class-I had to catch up and do a quiz on MJ.

Update..

Last Thursday i wasn't in because i didn't go to the BBC.

Monday- we carried on with our pop art faces. I have finished the face and the colors and now and doing my personal bit.

Tuesday-We have followed instructions on how to make up magazine page.

Monday..8.02.10 and Tuesday..9.02.10

Angie's class we re-freshened our minds with primary and secondary colors, we made a color wheel of them, then started our faces.. I did mine with Fire hair and a pale face. I'm happy with my picture, im yet to put it in my personal bit.

Brian's class- We talked about our plan and what we wanted for the magazine, then we went on the computer and researched what I am doing.

Taylor's Class- Were going to start on Product design project and add this product in our magazine.

Monday 1.02.10

Today i had a lot of fun. We took pictures (head and shoulder shot) and we had to do different expressions, then we put them onto the computer then picked the 4 that we liked then printed on black and white. Then you pick one picture that we liked then stuck it down to the table with masking tape then we got a clear overlay and drew our features, after that we put them on a over head projector and drew on our final piece of paper.. i chose the cardboard as im going to put a lot of detail on it. With the other pictures that we didn't use we colored them in with felt tips (blue face, red hair ect ect..) and going to do a collage from that. :)

Update.

Monday-On Monday we researched Pop art, we had to choose 3 pictures that caught our eyes and put them in our scrapbooks and had to write what we liked and what grabbed our eye. My main one is the Marlin Munro, it catches my eye because it looks fun and pretty the colors are quite sharp.
Then after we finished that we took pictures of different expressions of our faces.



Thursday-Today my Blue animation group edited and finished the Show racism the red card. I filled out my evaluation.

Today we did a lot of paperwork and i caught up with reports. I need to catch up on my Teen Scene and finish that, also my sketch book.

In Robs class we did our talks, i did mine on how to wash and style hair, i think it went well..

Monday.

Angie wasn't in for the morning so someone filled in for her, we made our apples, orange and banana. I made the background with tommy.
